I found a park bench overlooking English Bay and False Creek and sat down to watch the boats go by. The view from Granville Island is worth the walk across the Granville Street bridge.
The island itself is an old fishing port that has been refashioned into a colorful shopping and art district. Here is a map of the Island.
Not far from the bench there was a small Peruvian man playing wind instruments. After a few bites of my burger with the background music and the view of the bay I felt downright inspired. Yeah its cheesy but I guess you had to be there.
