I leave in a week. I leave my current job at the end of March. Ok, for you fact freaks it’s a little more than a week but I only have the time to do this now.
I’ve worked here for over a decade. I’ve enjoyed my time. As with most jobs and most places I’ve developed my own vision of what this place could and should be.
I’ve never really voiced my opinions because I was more concerned with learning than forming a precise opinion. To be entirely honest its not really my opinion that matters now. I still have time to formulate that one.
But, only because some of you have asked and are wondering, I thought I would give you a quick glimpse into what I think this place could be. I’m interested in seeing a very contemporary interpretation of our goals, ideals and mandate. I’m very interested to know what would happen if it were given back to the artists, scientists and intellectuals of today. I want to know what the global affect would be if the people who work here started to dream again.
For now, like with everything else, I just have to be content with only wanting to know.
